Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of the FriendPet Chrome extension and website at https://friendpet.kwverdit.com. By installing or using FriendPet, you agree to these Terms.

The service

FriendPet provides webpage desktop-pet features in Chrome: demo pets, optional photo-based creation, local display, and simple interactions. Optional website accounts support credits and subscriptions for generation jobs.

You stay in control

FriendPet does not post content or operate webpages for you.
You choose when to enable the pet, request generation, and interact with overlays.
Demo pets are for local display and do not publish anything on your behalf.
You are responsible for photos you upload and for complying with applicable laws and site rules where you browse.

Accounts and sign-in

Website features such as credit purchases may require Google sign-in. Keep your account secure and contact support if you notice unauthorized use.

Credits and subscriptions

Successful cloud generation and related action jobs use credits. Subscriptions and packs are sold on the website. Unused promotional credits may expire under the rules shown at purchase.

Billing and refunds

Paid plans and credit packs are sold on the FriendPet website. Checkout is processed by our Merchant of Record (MoR) payment partner shown on the payment page (for example Creem or Waffo Pancake). Prices, billing intervals, and included credits are shown before you pay.

Subscriptions: you may cancel anytime from your account or by contacting support. Access continues until the end of the current paid period. Partial refunds for unused subscription time are generally not offered except where required by applicable law or the MoR refund policy.
Credit packs: digital credits are non-refundable once consumed. If you purchased a pack and no credits from that purchase have been used, contact us within 14 days of purchase with your account email and order reference to request a review.
Failed or canceled generation jobs: when a job fails or is canceled before completion, reserved credits are released back to your balance when our systems can do so automatically.
Non-refundable: consumed credits, free or promotional welcome credits, and purchases where credits were already used. Chargebacks filed without contacting support first may result in account suspension.

To request a refund review or billing help, email support@kwverdit.com with your account email, order or invoice reference, and a brief reason. Eligible refunds, when approved, are typically returned to the original payment method within 5–10 business days through the MoR.

Jobs and local packs

Create and action jobs may continue while the popup is closed; progress can appear on the toolbar badge. Pet packs stored locally remain on your device until cleared or the extension is removed.

Acceptable use

FriendPet is for creating wholesome animated companions from pet photos you own or have rights to use. By using the service you agree to the rules below. We may refuse generation, suspend accounts, or remove content that violates this policy.

Do not use FriendPet for illegal activity, harassment, scams, or to circumvent security controls.
Do not attempt to abuse generation limits, payment systems, or our API.
Only upload photos you have the right to use. Do not upload photos of people without permission, or images that infringe others' rights.
Do not upload or request generation of NSFW, pornographic, sexually explicit or sexually suggestive content, including nude or pornographic depictions of animals or humans.
Do not upload or request generation of violent, hateful, exploitative, or otherwise harmful content, including content involving minors in any sexual or exploitative context (strictly prohibited).
Do not use FriendPet to create deepfakes, face-swap misuse, or deceptive impersonation intended to harm or mislead others.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that abuse the service or violate these rules.

Content moderation

FriendPet provides photo-based animation generation (Animate Photo). To reduce harmful or policy-violating output, we apply automated checks before and during generation:

Pre-generation screening: uploaded photos and related inputs are checked by automated content safety systems before processing begins. If content is denied or flagged, generation is blocked and reserved credits are released when possible.
Fail-closed behavior: when safety systems are unavailable or return an indeterminate result, we may refuse the job rather than proceed without screening.
Post-report review: content reported by users (see below) may be reviewed manually. We may remove stored outputs, restrict generation, warn the account, or terminate access.

Reporting violations

If you believe generated content or another user’s use of FriendPet violates these Terms or applicable law, report it to support@kwverdit.com with the subject line “Content report”. Please include:

Your account email (if you have one) and the reported account email or identifier, if known.
Job ID, pet ID, or other reference shown in the product, plus a short description of the concern.
Why you believe the content violates our Acceptable Use rules (for example NSFW, harassment, impersonation, or rights infringement).
We aim to acknowledge reports within 3 business days and complete an initial review within 7 business days. Complex cases may take longer. We will take action we deem appropriate, which may include no action, warning, restriction, content removal, or account termination.

Violation enforcement

When we determine a violation of these Terms or our Acceptable Use rules, we may apply one or more of the following measures:

Refuse or cancel a generation job and release reserved credits when possible.
Issue a warning, temporarily limit generation or account features, or remove stored outputs linked to the violation.
Suspend or permanently terminate the account, and cooperate with payment partners or authorities when required by law.

AI models used

FriendPet discloses the third-party AI models used in our cloud generation pipeline so you know what powers Animate Photo and related features:

Grok Imagine (xAI) — image-to-image cartoon style transfer and image-to-video animation for create and action jobs.
Recraft Remove Background (Recraft) — background removal / cutout after cartoonization.
GPT-4o mini (OpenAI) — vision analysis of uploaded photos to infer pet traits and generation hints.
Automated content safety screening — pre-generation moderation of uploads before model processing.

Model providers, versions, or routing may change as we improve quality and safety; we will update this list and the create page disclosure when we make material changes.

Disclaimer

FriendPet is provided as-is. We do not guarantee specific animation quality, uninterrupted availability, or compatibility with every website.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms when the product changes. Continued use after updates means you accept the revised Terms.
